Configuring a model provider & API key
Use OpenAI, OpenRouter or a local OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Your key is stored in ~/.hermes/.env on your machine.
Autonomy levels: Ask first, Smart, Fully automatic
How the bot handles dangerous commands (deleting files, installing software, sending data out) at each level, and when to use which.
How pricing & fees work
Signed out, you use your own key and Piskes charges nothing. Signed in to Piskes, model calls are paid from platform credits.
